Bouncy Castle Hires FAQ
(Q) How long is the hire period?
(A) Hire is for a full day between the times of, 9.30am - 7.30pm in summer, 9.30am - 5.30pm in winter.
(Q) Can we have the bouncy castle overnight?
(A) Return times vary throughout the year, depending on how much daylight we have. We do allow bouncy castles to be hired for longer than one day. We charge £30 for each additional day. Under no circumstances is the bouncy castle to be left outside overnight please call if you require more information.
(Q) Do you deliver bouncy castles?
(A) Yes, we offer a free delivery service to some postcodes please check our postcode list when booking to see if your hire is within one of these postcodes; additional fees apply for delivery outside these postcodes. The bouncy castles will be set up prior to your event then picked up afterwards. Please call if you require more information.
(Q) Do you stay and supervise the bouncy castles?
(A) Yes you can have your bouncy castle hire supervised; we charge £25.00 ph per bouncy castle supervision hire.
(Q) What happens if it rains?
(A) The bouncy castles come with a waterproof tarpaulin which you will use to cover the bouncy castle if it starts to rain however this sheet does not allow you to use the bouncy castle in the rain as the blower will need to be switched off to allow you to cover it with the tapaulin. When the rain stops you can take off the tarpaulin and carry on using the bouncy castle (the driver will show you how to do everything it very easy)
(Q) Can the bouncy castles operate on windy days?
(A) Yes they can, however really stronger winds can be a bit too much for some of the bouncy castles. Pegs are supplied with all bouncy castles and sand bags with the larger bouncy castles. We will assess the weather forecast one day prior to your party and if extreme winds are showing, then you will have the option to cancel the hire when we call you. We do not charge you for cancelation of hires under these conditions.
(Q) What do I need in order to hire out a item/product?
(A) A holding deposit is required before any hire item is delivered. The full cost of the hire will then be paid by the customer upon delivery. The deposit is refunded after the items have been collected and inspected by the company. This refund is normally processed 3 - 5 working days after the item has been returned. If the deposit is paid for in cash then bank and photo ID details will be required.
(Q) How do I pay?
(A) We accept cash, card payments and bank deposit payments. All deposits must be paid at booking, in order to guarantee your bouncy castle hire.full payment of the hire paid upon delivery if not before.
(Q) Does the bouncy castle have to go on grass?
thoroughly inspect the area before use.(A) No, however bouncy castles need to be anchored down, so being on the grass is the easiest way to peg it down into your lawn. But if your bouncy castle hire is to be put up on concrete, paving or stones, a rubber mat will be provided with sand weights there is a £10.00 additional charge for this . It will be the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the surface the bouncy castle will be placed on is clear of all sharp objects and items that may damage of dirty the bouncy castle. (Q) Can the bouncy castle fit indoors?
(A) In some cases, our smallest bouncy castle could fit in a large lounge or halls. Our largest bouncy castle will fit into a local school hall so you could probably judge your estimates on that.
